We have officially started our 2013 season. We kicked off Groundhog
day by moving our cows from one winter pasture to another
winter pasture. The babies have started arriving, branding calves
follows and then herding 350 cows to various places on summer territory
and last but not least hell month of shipping and preg testing and
pushing cows baaaack to winter country.
I finally brought my camera to something other than shipping and branding for the delight and enjoyment of those who will see this.

Most of the cows getting ready to go through the gate. We are in Butler.
Who wouldn't fall in love with that smile and under bite?
We left Aspyn and Adison with Jessie and Shawn and the next thing we know, Justin had HAD them but dropped them off in the middle of no where so he could go get some stray cows. They were just hanging out waiting for him to come back to pick them up.
Love this picture with all 4 Ivins' brothers together.
Please check out the dogs. They truly are missing 7 dogs not pictured. Between the 4 of them, there are 13 dogs. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rico is as big as Chezney, and he doesn't even bother her. She was screaming with sheer delight that they were walking together.
Averie and Chezney...so cute.
My loves with their love...Cosmo
This was the first time that Chezney was in shoes and sturdy enough to walk on the uneven dirt ground. At first, she couldn't figure it out. She was high stepping and walking funny, but about 3 minutes in she was so intrigued by the ground, she wouldn't look up. We had to watch her close cause she would just take off on her own to go explore. No fear in this child.
Lunch time!
Aspyn can spot "her horse" Cosmo out of the entire 35-40 horses on this ranch. She knows exactly who Cosmo is and that he is her horse. She loves him.
FUN DAY!!!!
