Christmas 2013

Man! Oh man! Did we have a fabulous Christmas!!! It was incredibly fun to have kids this age. Aspyn totally understood Santa and just loved it. Chez was excited because Aspyn was excited, but she started picking up and understanding the whole "Santa" idea a few days before Christmas. We stayed home this year - which we will always do from now on. I couldn't even tear Aspyn away from her toys just to eat anything - let alone trying to get her to go somewhere. We had pasta on Christmas Eve and Peter the Elf came mysteriously and brought the pajamas. We made notes, baked cookies and got the carrots all ready for Santa and the reindeer to have.
On Christmas Day, Mommy was too excited...so I got up early (soooo not like me) got ready and woke the kids up about 7:45 am. We got everybody ready to find out if old Santa Clause had come and guess what!?!?!? He found us and spoiled the heck out of us! We had a great time opening presents and checking things out. We ate a yummy breakfast and then were back to playing with presents and seeing how things worked. That afternoon, most of us either took a nap or watched a movie, but not Aspyn. She played and played and played. What a fun Christmas!

Aspyn was pretty excited that Peter the Elf had dropped off her pajamas.
So was Chezy
Aspyn was cracking me up all Christmas Eve...she had discovered this little trick and I think we took 15 different pictures of her performing her trick. Crazy girl!
Cute kiddos in their Christmas jammies

Chez helping to get the carrots out for the reindeer
Aspyn was so pumped to put the milk and cookies out and the pictures her and Chez drew for Santa.
We didn't have enough big carrots for all the reindeer, but we scraped up what we had. Aspyn said the reindeer would be OK with it...they would get what they got and wouldn't throw a fit. She was pretty pumped to discover Santa had taken the carrots, drank the milk, ate some cookies and left a note.
Christmas morning...look at all the loot!
Aspyn got her doll house
And some barbies, clothes, shoes and a coat
Chez got a fun animal tree stand. Some clothes, a stroller, shoes, a coat and a barbie.
Coy hung out in his swing while we opened presents, and was pretty happy boy to do so.

Opening some loot!
Chez got her Santa Baby!!

The BIG present that Daddy and Mommy gave the kids.

Waiting to go downstairs to see where they can use the balls.
The faces that were looking at this...
A freakin Bounce House!!!!!...couldn't be more excited with the Bounce House or the reaction!

This little boy finally had a bottle and got to check out his loot. He loved it of course...he isn't too picky. I love this picture and especially this amazing and handsome present we got this year. I am one lucky mama.

McCoy bouncing in his gift from Santa. He loved it from the get go. And he could touch the floor which didn't completely surprise me cause he is so big, but a little cause he is only 5 months.

Handsome boy!
I love love love these coats and my girls make them look DANG good too!

Carson gave this drawing easel to Aspyn for a cousin gift and she loves it!That is her drawing of our family...Daddy, Mommy, Aspyn, Chezney and Coy.
Merry Christmas to us...we are pretty stinkin lucky and BLESSED beyond measure.
