One Saturday a while ago, Tyler, Shawn, Kathryn and I along with 5 kids and 8 dogs (yes EIGHT DOGS) went out to check the heifers south of town. We were driving along while Shawn and Jake were throwing hay out to the cows when all of a sudden there was this LOUD thud and we were sinking fast. Tyler thought the wheel had come off the truck. We get out to find that we drove straight into this massive hole. Now, seriously this hole was crazy big. It is a little funny because Tyler, myself and Kathryn were all sitting up front but we didn't even see the stinkin thing. We tried to put dirt into the hole but it was so big that the tire would just spin, we couldn't ever get it to touch the bottom of the hole. We were so far down that the back drivers side back tire was up in the air. The step rail was laying on the dirt. It wouldn't budge. Well, needless to say, Shawn had to run about a mile back to the highway to pull us out. We got out fine with the truck but would have been stranded hadn't he pulled a trailer down. Kinda funny!
