On Saturday, Kathryn, Nicole and I loaded up 7 kids and took them to Cottonwood. The weather was perfect. It was a beautiful hot spring day, just right to get into some water. The water was a little cold at first but once you got used to it, it was fine. Aspyn wasn't so sure about wading around in the water, but she wasn't about to let the kids have fun without her. It took her a few minutes to warm up to the cold water and the idea to get all wet, but once she made up her mind she wasn't turning back. We had a great time and Aspyn loved it!
We threw rocks into the water for awhile.
The girls wanted to go for a walk. They seriously love each other!
Then Nicole showed Aspyn a little slide. Aspyn thought it was the greatest!
We had some lunch and packed up and came home! It was a perfect way to spend the first perfect weather day in Blanding.
