Santa + Dancing = Happiness

Last week, Blanding City held their annual Tree For All. Aspyn had two really good reasons for wanting to go. Santa was going to be there and she was going to perform her dance routine that Jeanna had taught her in dance all fall. Well, needless to say...it was NOT a disappointing night for our family. Well, except for Chez. She HATED Santa. She HATED waiting around watching the girls perform and she HATED being confined to the stroller. She DID have a disappointing night. :)

Oh, how Aspyn was so excited to tell Santa how she wanted a pink barbie, pink shoes and a pink kitchen. Do you see a theme? She was kinda shy about talking to him, but she got right down to business and told him once on his lap. I wasn't even sure she would do it. Chez was fine in my arms, but the second I lifted to put her down...she freaked out. Apparently the jolly old elf was a bit scary.

Aspyn and her cute friend Sadie Palmer
Aspyn performed two times. One in the evening on Friday and then again Saturday morning.

Love her!
Aspyn was SOOOO excited that all those people had come to watch just her dance!
Everyone giving her high fives!
Soooo cute! The lighting was way better on Saturday morning.

Chez just liked the stairs

She also liked dancing to the beat in Kathryn's lap

So proud of this little girl and her first dance performance!!! Way to go sis!
