Christmas 2012 was a fun, but memorable Christmas for us. First off, let's start by saying it snowed on CHRISTMAS EVE!!!! That was so fabulous for me esp..cause Christmas isn't quite Christmas without some snow. It was fun to have a kid really into Santa Clause this year. Aspyn loved that he was flying in from the North Pole with his little Reindeer! Oh! How she loved it all! The best part of Santa this year, was Aspyn learned the Santa doesn't bring presents to "big" girls that have binkies...so we mailed Santa her bink and she was fabulous! She cried for two nights - with the second night being better than the first night - and just asked about it the third night. Now it being a month later, she hasn't even tried to steal Chez's and it's like she totally forgot she was addicted to that thing! So we got rid of the bink. Thank you Santa!!! Chezy had fun following sister around with all the presents and helping open everyone presents. She was super cute and so excited laughing and screaming her blood curltering happy scream.

Aspyn completely astounded that Santa ate so many cookies, drank all the milk and took some carrots from the reindeer.

A pink Kitchen! She has been talking about this thing for MONTHS!
Chez scored a fun little pony...yes it totally has been recycled! :)
Chez was also excited about her other presents

Dad got some binoculars and Dad and Mom got an Ipad 4.
Aspyn can't wait to wear her new cowgirl shirt to watch the bucking bulls she said.
Bottom's up!
We had a few breakdown's that lasted seconds with Chez. She just got overwhelmed a bit.
I made the girls some warm fuzzy minky blankets. They loved on them for literally 2.4 seconds. Chez won't touch hers since, she only wants her blank that she has had since she was a little tiny baby and that night, Aspyn asked me if she had to use that blanket cause she just wanted her other one - that happened to be store bought from someone that gave it to her as a gift when she was a baby too. So glad I put so much time, effort and money into something they didn't want or will use. Nice.
I was super excited for the girls to see this little beauty. It was from Grandma and Grandpa Ivins' with Mom and Dad as a sponsor for both girls. They loved it! Aspyn was a bit timid around it, but once she got in, noticed the radio and turned on a song...she was loving it! But Chez loved it from the first sighting. She was screaming joyful and laughing standing up while Aspyn raced forward slammed on the brake and whip lashed Chez forward. It was so fun!
Do you love how Aspyn is checking out the jeep and Chezy is joyful walking towards the toys?!
love this pic
The whole crew
Of course Chezney thought the wiggle car was fabulous too.
Over Christmas, the ENTIRE WEEK Christmas, our kids were deathly ill. You have to have sick little kids for Christmas right?! Aspyn maintained a temperature OVER 103 F for 6 days. She had double ear infections, a UTI and Strep throat. Freakin LOVELY! She was down and out quite a bit, but was still a trooper about the whole thing. Once you had some meds in her, you would never know that she was sick but she was hating life.
Chez would just roll around and cry and whine. She wasn't nearly has sick but did run a lower fever 101-102 F mostly. She didn't have ear infections, but she did catch the Strep throat. It was so sad, he little gums were all white and pussy with sores all in them. Pretty nasty! So sad for our little varmits!!!!!!
All ready for Christmas church...the best picture I could get. Chez was not happy about it!
All in all we had a GREAT Christmas! Can't wait for Christmas 2013!!!!!!!
