The big day....

Well, our little nugget is 1 years old. Really?!?!? Aspyn in happy and healthy. She isn't walking which Tyler is a little concerned about but the rest of us know that when Aspyn is good and ready and decides she will do it...the walking will happen. She loves to walk around anything and is dang good at it too but is so chicken when you make her stand by herself. We had a great birthday celebration on Saturday night (thanks everyone for coming!) and then a fabulous day just with our little family on her real b-day (Sunday). Aspyn loved the attention from everyone and has been making HUGE messes with all of her sweet toys she got for birthday. We took her to get her 1 yr pictures yesterday (thanks Brooke) and went to the doctor today. Poor baby had to get 5 shots this morning. She shed 1 tear, as soon as they were done, I hugged her and she stopped yelling. Dr. Black was like "whoa, she is tough!" Yes, she is!

Her stats - Weight: 20 pounds 11 oz (50th percentile)
Length: 29 inches (50th percentile)
Head circumference: 17 and 3/4 inches (AGAIN 50th percentile)

She says: DaDa, Mom, just started saying mama (when she is crying) and just started saying hi yesterday. She knows the sounds or at least rattles something out when you ask her to say: cow, coyote, lion, and makes a fishy face.

She loves: her cousins, playing with kids, walking with you holding her up, her stroller, giving the SLOPPIEST kisses in the world (she will kiss anyone), waving bye bye, her puppies from a far away distance, her daddy, the bath, both her grandma's, all vegetables, ice cream, playing with her buggy that Jennie gave her, being outside, wrecking the horses, tearing papers up, cows and only her mommy can tuck her into bed.

She doesn't love: horses, fresh fruit (weirdo), big dogs. Gosh...I know there is stuff she doesn't like but honestly...I have been racking my brain and I can't think of anymore. She must be perfect.

We love you Aspyn and are so happy your in our family!!!!! You are the best little girl any parents could ask for!
