Chez and the Dentist

 Chez had her first check up with the Dentist yesterday. Erin was so patient and kind with Chez. Chez was not so much scared, but just the usual "Chez" around new people....shy, just stared, curious and a little nervous. She sat there for a little bit by herself while the chair was taking her on a ride and then she started getting nervous and asking for me. So in order for this little girl to stay put, I held her in the chair. Once she got really comfortable with Erin, she was opening her mouth the first time and not having to talk her into it. She did everything they asked her to do. She did hate the little air squirter thing. And she did not come away with a clean bill of health either. There is a cavity forming in her front teeth...dang it. An interesting side note: I always thought she was missing her bottom side tooth in between her canine and her front bottom tooth. Well, after much studying and much debate between hygienist and dentist, they decided she is missing her bottom right tooth completely. The two teeth that are on her bottom are a side and a bottom. Intriguing.
